Throughout November and until 9th December 2016, applications are open for the annual CECs educational-scientific program "Be a scientist for a fortnight".

Places are open to senior high school students, aged approx. 16-18 years, who are interested in science and welcome the opportunity to work shoulder to shoulder with CECs research scientists. To apply for a place on the course, please complete the online application form and include a written letter that explains your motivations for wanting to attend the course. All three of the major research areas at CECs invite students to apply. These research areas are:

- Theoretical Physics.

- Biology.

- Glaciology.
