Today the third expedition to Fleming Glacier started. The expedition team Claudio Bravo and Pablo Zenteno traveled in a C-130 “Hercules” of the Chilean Air Force from Punta Arenas to the Chilean airport Teniente Marsh, King George Island. C-130 departed at 11 am local time. Climate conditions permitting they will go on to Rothera (BAS) station on Adelaide Island with two Twin Otters of the Chilean Air Force, where they will meet with Gino Casassa.
